Brothers and Sisters,

The Executive Negotiating Committee met with American Airlines on June 25, 26, & 27 in Washington, DC.  The vast majority of these negotiating sessions were spent discussing Scope in a very detailed manner, mainly for the Maintenance and Related group.  While Fleet Service Scope was discussed, it was done on a much broader level since the Company was unprepared and not fully represented.  The Association made it clear that the Company must consider Scope language that is more aligned with the Association’s proposals.

We discussed scheduling more dates, but none were committed to. The objective remains … Read More...

The Company’s public statements that they desire to conclude these negotiations continues to contradict their behavior at the bargaining table.

Association negotiators tested the possibility of moving into the major open issues during this session. While no agreements were reached, some meaningful dialogue was had over the important areas in the Association scope … Read More...

Sunday, June 10th, 2018 was the official 75th Anniversary of Victory Lodge 1725. The weeklong celebration culminated with a brunch at the DoubleTree in Charlotte. Our members were treated to a fantastic brunch menu (did someone say Bloody Mary’s).
