As previously announced, the Association leadership and American Airlines Management participated in a joint conference call with the NMB mediators assigned to assist in our JCBA negotiations. The mediators are now responsible for setting the agenda, including dates for the mediated sessions.
The mediators opened the call requesting the parties discuss the differences between our proposals on the duration article of the agreement. The Association proposed early openers in our next contracts and a methodology that includes wage increases past the amendable date if we do not reach agreement on a new contract by that time. … Read More...
The Association of Professional Flight Attendants (APFA) will be holding a picket at the Charlotte airport this coming Sunday, November 18th.
Any members of Victory Lodge 1725 who can show up to give some support and show Solidarity for our Flight Attendants are encouraged to do so! Even if you can just come out to the hotel parking lot for a few minutes as a show of union strength this would be a great support for another of our unions at American who are standing up to management.

Negotiations continued in Dallas, Texas the week of November 6-8, 2018. This session your Committee continued work with Articles Five (Classifications), Ten (Part-Time Employees) and Eleven (Filling of Vacancies) also responding to Article Six (Hours of Service). Continued open dialog took place concerning Article Seven (Overtime). The company countered Sixteen (Severance Pay), as well as passing Article Fifteen (Reduction in Force).
