June 14, 2018 Admin 0

Sunday, June 10th, 2018 was the official 75th Anniversary of Victory Lodge 1725. The weeklong celebration culminated with a brunch at the DoubleTree in Charlotte. Our members were treated to a fantastic brunch menu (did someone say Bloody Mary’s).

Both were recognized for their years of service to our lodge and the legacies they have left for us to follow. Bill Wise then introduced Bob Bynum after which Bob spoke to … Read More...

On Saturday, June 9th, 2018 members of our Local Lodge got together at the DoubleTree in Charlotte for a fun night of food, fellowship, music and yes, dancing. And yes, there are pictures to prove it!

After checking in our members were treated to appetizers and cocktails before the main event started. The dinner buffet was outstanding! After dinner our very own DJ Mickey Senick fired up the dance floor with an eclectic mix of current hits and classics. There is even a rumor going around that Vice President Daryl Current was spotted on the dance floor but he will … Read More...

Political Training Class

I was invited by our Distict 142 President, DaveSupplee to attend The Political Training Class at W3, (William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center).  I was thrilled and pleased to attend and represent our local.

This class focuses on MNPL, elections, legislative issues, the political process, and the relation and importance of our involvement to politics and government.

Our class started off by assigning members to a group that would create a faux candidate and a campaign operation to get them elected. Every person in our group was assigned particular jobs that actually exist in campaigns. As … Read More...

May 3, 2018 Admin 0

05/03/2018

With By-Law Proposals on the agenda I have had several requests to make our current Local Lodge Bylaws easier to find. The link to our bylaws resides on the Resources page but in addition I have added a direct link on the main menu, under the Resources drop-down menu. Please see the image above! This link will open the Bylaws document in a new Tab or Window. To close simply “X-Out” of that Tab or Window.

I hope this helps everyone as they do research on our Bylaws! And thank you for your suggestions. They help me make your … Read More...
