Southwest Airlines Contract Negotiations Update – June 10, 2019

The Union and the Company met the week of June 3, 2019 in Dallas, Texas to continue our contract negotiations.
Topics of discussion were Articles 5, 7 and 11. There are opposing viewpoints regarding Article 7, regarding the use of mandatory overtime (MOT). Your committee is resolute in delivering a contract that insures we, as members of the IAM and employees of SWA, enjoy a quality of life deserving of working women and men.
Negotiations will continue June 18 – 20, 2019.
