Brothers and Sisters,

The following is a basic format for the year 2017 District #142 Scholarship Program and is intended for the guidance of all members and legal children of members who may be eligible to participate in the competition.

The competition will be open to all members in good standing of District Lodge 142 as of February 1, 2017, as well as their legal children who are 2017 graduating high school seniors.  This year’s competition will provide a First Prize of $2,500.00 and several additional $1,000.00 scholarship tuition awards.  This money will be paid directly to the college or … Read More...

District 141 envisions a future in which work and all people who work are valued, respected and rewarded. Education is a part of the journey towards that future.

In 2017, District 141 will once again sponsor the Adolph Stutz Memorial Scholarship, rewarding District 141 Members or family eligibles with an annual cash prize of $2000 for first place, and second place prizes of $1000 each.

Tuition Can Be a Burden – Apply for an IAM Scholarship to Help

The 2017 IAM Scholarship Competition is now accepting applications. The deadline for submissions is February 24, 2017.

The IAM awards scholarships to:

  • Children of IAM members (parent or guardian) applying for college
  • Children of IAM members (parent or guardian) applying for vocational or technical school
  • IAM members applying for college

Since its implementation in 1960, the Scholarship Competition has continued to grow. This past year, 2015-2016, the IAM received 294 applications for scholarships. The 16 scholarships awarded were valued at $72,000.
