Congratulations to Roger Thompson on his Retirement!

Congratulations are in order for Roger Thompson on his retirement. Roger retired Tuesday, December 3, 2019 with a ceremony at the Charlotte Heavy Maintenance Hangar. He worked as a Lead Mechanic on 2nd Shift in the Composite Shop.

Roger began his career in aviation maintenance in 1967 and went to work for Piedmont Airlines in 1973. He received the Charles Taylor Master Mechanic Award in 2017, having completed 50 years as a mechanic. He retired with 52 total years in aviation, with 46 of those years being with Piedmont Airlines, USAir, US Airways and American Airlines.
