President’s Report – February 2019

February 15, 2019 Craig Vanderhoof 0

President’s Report – January 2019

January 17, 2019 Craig Vanderhoof 0

The day I found out I was going to be the next President of the Local a good friend sent me a quote, ” If you build an army of 100 lions and their leader is a dog, in any fight, the lions will die like a dog. But If you build an army of 100 dogs and their leader is a lion, all dogs will fight as a lion”.

These are not only words that I plan to stand by but a promise that I will always strive to be the best leader I can be for this Local … Read More...

May 3, 2018 Admin 0

05/03/2018

With By-Law Proposals on the agenda I have had several requests to make our current Local Lodge Bylaws easier to find. The link to our bylaws resides on the Resources page but in addition I have added a direct link on the main menu, under the Resources drop-down menu. Please see the image above! This link will open the Bylaws document in a new Tab or Window. To close simply “X-Out” of that Tab or Window.

I hope this helps everyone as they do research on our Bylaws! And thank you for your suggestions. They help me make your … Read More...

Website Year in Review: 2017

January 4, 2018 Admin 0

As we head into 2018 I thought it might be fun to look back on 2017 from the perspective of our lodge website. 2017 was a year of much needed changes, additions and “tweaking” of the new website which was launched on July 13th, 2016. As a web developer I can truthfully say that the hardest part of designing and maintaining a website is keeping the content fresh, up to date and most of all useful and relevant. When I set out to launch the new site in 2016 I asked myself (as well quite a few of my coworkers), … Read More...
