Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Attached is the Redlined Edition of the Tentative Agreement (TA) between Southwest Airlines and the IAMAW. Over the next few days, the General Chairs and members of the Negotiating Committee will be visiting the stations to conduct informational sessions where you will be able to ask questions and receive answers regarding the new Tentative Agreement. We have also established an email address for you to submit your questions regarding the new TA. The email address is SWAQuestions@iamdl142.org. You will get a response on any questions submitted and we will be posting a list of those questions and answers on the website.
Next steps will be the posting of the Road Show Informational Schedule and later the date for the ratification vote. With well over 100 stations, including the centers, this process will take some time. We ask for your understanding and encourage everyone to go to the District’s website, www.atd142.org, and sign-up for email alerts. Please use your personal email address and we will send you updates regarding ratification.
Your Negotiating Committee thanks you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you at your station. We strongly recommend a YES vote on this Agreement.
