J.D. Peace was born and raised in Trinity, NC. His roots run deep in this small town of less than 7,000 residents nestled just south of High Point off Interstate 85. It wasn’t a hard decision to get involved in the community, after all his family has lived here for generations and giving back just seemed like the right thing to do.
J.D. is President of the Archdale-Trinity Serco Club. The Archdale-Trinity SerCo Club was chartered on February 13, 1984. Since its start, SerCo has meant “Service to the Community” and the club works to serve the community by helping families in need. It’s Mission Statement reads: The purpose of the Archdale-Trinity SerCo Club is to improve the quality of life for our neighbors and to enrich our community to make it a better place to live, work, or visit.
The Archdale-Trinity Serco Club provides assistance on a needs basis year round with heat, utilities, rent, groceries, school supplies, etc. They also conduct the Annual Archdale-Trinity Cheer Fund – providing gifts for the children of families who cannot afford them. Besides sponsoring individual families, they prepare and distribute large stockings filled with blankets, toys, candy, books, toothbrushes, and other assorted items to those in need within the community. In 2014, SerCo was able to brighten the holidays for 350+ children, seniors, and families!
Serco relies on donations to operate. These allow them to continue to provide financial support within the community, honor their seniors with the Annual Senior’s Banquet, and continue the tradition of the Annual Cheer Fund. Besides direct donations, they count on community support of their fundraising activities and events like the Spaghetti Dinners, the Annual Big
Galute Chili Cook-Off and Santa 5k Run.

A Note from J.D.
First and foremost, I want to thank the good Lord for blessing the Archdale Trinity SerCo . We had a amazing year that started with a series of movies in the park , a Father’s Day concert , the 6th Annual Big Galute chili cook off , our 43rd Seniors dinner , hosting the Archdale Christmas parade and the Santa 5k run & kids dash. We feel so blessed to be a part of the communities of Archdale and Trinity and to be able to give back to our great Communities. 2017 is going to be bigger and better.
Our Christmas Cheerfund was a huge success because of the generosity of our community. With your support we were able to do more than we ever have in the past . It truly was a special Christmas for all.
Thank you Archdale Trinity for supporting us for so many years and allowing us to do what we love. If you would like to be a part of a great nonprofit, we would love to have you be a part of SerCo. We can’t wait to see you out at one of events this year. It’s going to be Epic!
May God bless us all”
