The Communications Committee is responsible for publication of our monthly newsletter, Victory News, as well as publishing news updates for the membership via flyers, postings, etc. Website management also falls under the administration of the Communications Committee.

The IAM is one of the largest and most diverse labor unions in North America with nearly 600,000 active and retired members. Representing workers at Boeing and Lockheed Martin to United Airlines and General Electric, you will find IAM members across all occupations.

Communication with members has been a key principle of the IAM since its founding. That cornerstone value lives on today through many different mediums. The IAM Journal is the flagship publication created entirely from the IAM Communications Department. Victory Lodge 1725 Communications Team Wins Big at Conference Banquet

Last week the IAM’s Communication Conference was held in Las Vegas, NV. At the end of the conference, during the banquet Thursday evening, the annual Wimpy Awards were given out for local lodge and district lodge websites, newsletters and social media pages. The Wimpy Awards are named in honor of William W. “Wimpy” Winpisinger, the eleventh International President of the IAM.
