On Saturday, June 9th, 2018 members of our Local Lodge got together at the DoubleTree in Charlotte for a fun night of food, fellowship, music and yes, dancing. And yes, there are pictures to prove it!
After checking in our members were treated to appetizers and cocktails before the main event started. The dinner buffet was outstanding! After dinner our very own DJ Mickey Senick fired up the dance floor with an eclectic mix of current hits and classics. There is even a rumor going around that Vice President Daryl Current was spotted on the dance floor but he will neither confirm nor deny that rumor!
We were also honored to have Mayor of Harmony, NC and Guide Dogs of America recipient Lee Matney join us again. Lee brought a friend with him, a young lady who is soon to be receiving her first Guide Dog. We are thrilled to be able to share our Lodge with folks who are benefiting from organizations like Guide Dogs of America.
