Payroll Support Program (PSP) Ending Soon HELP NEEDED NOW!

DL 142

September 24, 2020

Sisters and Brothers:

Over the past month, the leaders of most of the major airlines, along with union leadership and members have been on Capitol Hill to push Congress to act immediately to pass a clean extension of the Payroll Support Program (PSP). There are only six days remaining before the PSP expires, and without a clean extension, hundreds of thousands of airline workers face the possibility of being furloughed.

We need all our members, their families, and friends to contact their senators to get Congress to act NOW before the current PSP expires. It only takes two minutes to send your senators a message, please take that time now to let them know how urgent this issue is to us. Even if you are not currently being affected, without further protections, the airlines will be severely impacted. Local communities will lose air service and local economies devastated by the loss of jobs.

Here is how you can help save airline jobs:

· Call your Senators at 866-829-3298 to urge them to pass a clean extension of the PSP through March 31, 2021, and to save hundreds of thousands of frontline airline workers’ jobs. · Email your Senators.

Please, take the time and contact your legislators NOW!

Fraternally,

David Supplee
PRESIDENT-DIRECTING GENERAL CHAIR
