Southwest Airlines Contract Negotiations Update – Nov 12th, 2018

Negotiations continued in Dallas, Texas the week of November 6-8, 2018. This session your Committee continued work with Articles Five (Classifications), Ten (Part-Time Employees) and Eleven (Filling of Vacancies) also responding to Article Six (Hours of Service).  Continued open dialog took place concerning Article Seven (Overtime). The company countered Sixteen (Severance Pay), as well as passing Article Fifteen (Reduction in Force). The team continues to work with these all open Articles in preparation for the next session. Your continued solidarity and support are appreciated through this process.

The next scheduled session is for December 4-7, 2018 in Dallas, Texas with future negotiations session January 8-10, 2019.
